The Wellcome Trust is a world-renowned institution, which explores the connection between medicine, life and art in the past, present and the future. The Wellcome Trust building at Euston houses contemporary and historic exhibitions and collections, the Wellcome Library, a cafe, bookshop, offices, conference facilities and a members club.

Service provided

Appointed as client project manager to provide contract, programme, cost and design management.

The project required considerable liason between the varied users of the spaces including the Chairman, PR team and building services team. As it was a refurbishment of an existing building of some age which had been refurbished a number of times before a considerable number of surveys also needed to be carried out.

This was a high profile project with a limited budget and a short programme being carried out in a fully occupied building. The work was planned so that it caused as little disruption as possible.
